Attitudes, ideas & mindsets are contagious - like the flu. All it takes is exposure to them & you can be infected. Some you want to catch; sadly, most you don’t. To help you keep from catching those you don’t want, your immune system has to be strong enough to fight them off. Unfortunately, none of us are completely 100% immune.
One way to build up your immune system is dreaming big, deciding what you want in life and staying focused on getting that. When you don’t know what you want in life, it’s like having a hole that is waiting to be filled. That's when the attitudes, mindsets & ideas of others infiltrate and fill that hole. Once you are infected, it will be easy for them to hijack what little dreams you do have and fool you into thinking you are on a mission, when really you are just a passenger in the back seat of a car you don’t own, being driven by someone else, going anywhere.
When you know what you want and are committed to it, your immune system is strong enough to allow in only that which fuels you, energizes you, makes you stronger and even more committed to YOUR journey.
