Dear Donald 6-21-2020

Dear Donald,

Happy Father’s Day!

So I understand your rally in Tulsa had fewer supporters than you expected. I saw an article that referenced a TikTok challenge where people registered for your rally tickets and had no plans on attending.

You were set up to accommodate almost 60,000 people after your campaign manager bragged about 1 million ticket requests. You had an outside overflow section which had to be scrapped because your supporters didn’t materialize. Huge video screens are not cheap to rent and set-up only to be torn down without being used but I’m sure that is no concern of yours because your campaign paid for it with your supporters money.

i wouldn’t worry too much about the turnout. I mean, we are in the middle of a pandemic. As you know, Oklahoma and Tulsa specifically had rising Coronavirus cases for days leading up to your event. I saw that 6 of your staffers tested positive the day of the rally.

I find it hard to believe that your die hard supporters decided not to attend this most important celebration because they feared violent protests. What does that say about them? Certainly they are not true patriots.

Speaking of father’s day let’s chat about Tulsa’s forefathers. As I am sure you realize by now, there was a domestic terrorist attack on black people of Tulsa in 1921. Next year will be the 100th anniversary of that tragic event. Did you know nobody was ever charged for the carnage that resulted from the hate-filled hearts of white supremacists who could not handle the economic victories scored by the Greenwood community of black Americans. Also it was determined that the city had conspired with the mob of white citizens against black citizens.

If only Tulsa had a law & order mayor back then made in your image. Certainly those thugs who burned and looted businesses and homes, who ruined dreams and futures, who killed and injured innocent Americans - certainly they would have been stopped in their tracks if someone with your impatience for rioting hooligans was in charge. It took till noon the next day for the National Guard troops to gain control of the situation.

Descendants of those killed and injured and run out of town still don’t know where some of their kin-folk lay buried. It is assumed that there is a mass grave near where all of the violence took place. It is estimated that some 25-30 million in today’s dollars was lost as a result.

Some of Tulsa’s current residents are descendants of those who carried out this act of terror. Their great grandfather or great grandmother could easily have been the ones who pulled the triggers that killed the “niggers”. Can you imagine how these murderers felt the next day?

Were they saddened that their tempers got the best of them and did they wish they hadn’t acted so impulsively? Were they upset that so many niggers got away? Were they excited that they finally put those uppity niggers in their place? Were they afraid of being arrested and tried and convicted for such heinous actions? Did they tell their kids stories about it and did their kid’s kids find out how petty and jealous and insecure their forefathers were? Or heroic?

It is quite possible Donny-boy that some of those older Tulsa supporters of yours have lost respect for you. You see they obviously inherited strategies for keeping niggers in their place and with all your bluster and talk about making America Great, you didn’t have the National Guard kill nearly as many uppity protesting niggers fighting for their rights as their great grandparents did back in the good old days.

And maybe it’s just that coming to see your tired antics in person is just not worth dying for in the middle of a pandemic.

Whatever the reason I’m sure you’ll figure out a way to call it a win for you. Maybe you will suggest they stayed home because of the rise in coronavirus cases locally and they had possibly been exposed and chose to do the right thing and not potentially expose others. You’ll thank them for their patriotism and compassion.

Once again your actions show how drunk with power you are. Pandemic be damned, seeing you on stage is worth the risk. Come help fill an arena with or without a mask. Hear America’s savior say the same tired things while you worship him decked out in idolatrous t-shirts and trinkets.

Yep, that's my anger being expressed.

God Bless America!

By the way, please note that according to the Johns Hopkins COVID 19 Map* as of June 21, 2020 at 8:33pm EST, under your leadership, there are 119,969 Americans killed by Covid-19 and 2,279,879 CONFIRMED cases.
