Dear Donald,
Talking to a friend about a tweet you sent out today led us to a conversation about Charles Manson. It occurred to me that the difference between you and Charles Manson is you had a rich father. Your family’s money shielded you from the consequences that led Charles Manson to commit robbery at 13 years old and become the notorious criminal he became infamous for. He is someone who uses others to get what he wants. He did it with guile and manipulation, you do it with money, power, bullying and of course manipulation.
So many other things between you two are quite similar.
His mom like yours was emotionally unavailable to him.
He was a bit too much for his mom to deal with so, like you, he was sent to “boarding school.”
He, like you, claimed to be the only one who can fix things.
He is considered to be a racist and supporter of the confederacy, just like you.
He required loyalty from his followers just like you do.
He got his followers to do things that got them into trouble.
He banned seeing impaired followers from using glasses thereby “blinding” them to reality. You do this by claiming truth to be fake news.
He banned his followers from thinking. No Comment here.
He had an inferiority complex that he hid behind his assertions that he was extraordinary.
He claimed to have a solution to every problem.
He influenced a substantial group of his followers to do his bidding.
It is that last one that concerns me.
From your position, you and your family have used your influence to persuade your followers to buy things, boycott things, cancel people and most recently you called on your followers to vote twice in North Carolina and cyber bully Laurene Powell Jobs who has an ownership stake in the Atlantic magazine.
It is obvious to most sane people that you are not up to the job of being president but just like Manson’s followers, your followers are so loyal they will stand by you till the very end and some will listen to your dog whistles and do your bidding.
So when you tweet to your followers in reference to Laurene Powell Jobs to “Call her, write her, let her know how you feel!!! EVERYBODY knows that what you are really doing is asking them to make her life a living hell.
I am not looking forward to what you will call on your followers to do on November 4 if you lose the election. It’s no secret that some of them are just waiting for you to give them the signal.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying you are a sociopath. I am just pointing out an observation that I find interesting. It is recognized by many that Charles Manson may never have killed anyone himself. I'll bet you could say the same thing about some of your friends that you admire like Putin, Kim Jong-un, Xi Jinping and others.
By the way, I know you have prioritized more important things to pay attention to but please note that according to the Johns Hopkins COVID 19 Map* as of September 6, 2020 at 10:28pm EST, under your leadership and INFLUENCE, there are 188,941 Americans killed by Covid-19 and 6,276,421 CONFIRMED cases.
